Can I really trust the testimonials that I find on ProCustomer?
You'll find many businesses providing testimonials for satisfied customers - how do you know they're genuine. Are they edited to embellish them or even just made up by the business?
We guarantee that all the testimonials that appear on ProCustomer were typed in as a response to a customer questionnaire. (The only exception is if the business has some testimonials which predate their use of the system, where we have added them ourselves. These one are clearly marked.)
Here are a few steps you can take if you suspect any testimonials are not as genuine as they seem.
When you read a business’s full testimonials page, see how many of them carry contact details such as telephone number or email. Whilst there are no hard and fast rules about this, if there are many testimonials but few have left their contacts there may be something wrong.
Contact the business mentioning some of the most glowing testimonials and ask if you can be put in contact with the writers. The business’s response should help you make up your mind.
If you do get in contact with someone who has left a testimonial, exercise normal caution, whilst remembering to be polite at all times. After all, most testimonials are genuine and a writer will be put off giving feedback in the future if they feel they may be put under the spotlight.
Contact us if you have good reason to doubt authenticity of testimonials.
