Customer testimonial

This is an authentic testimonial about ProCustomer, drawn from our own account on the system. Each time you visit the page, a testimonial is selected at random.

Increase your sales using testimonials from satisfied customers

You can't overestimate the impact that authentic testimonials from satisfied customers can have on every phase of your sales and marketing process. On your web site, in your printed brochure, in your portfolio, on the wall of your reception... they reassure potential clients that yours is a business that delivers. They're the most powerful arguments you can make to persuade new clients to buy from you.

ProCustomer automates the collection and management of your customer testimonials. It provides various facilities for you to publish them online, in a way that reassures the reader of their authenticity. It even allows a potential customer to get in touch with the customer who wrote a testimonial.

That awkward feeling

Many people are uncomfortable and embarrassed asking for testimonials. What if the customer says no? Might it strain the relationship or put the customer under pressure? Because the request is made in the context of the feedback questionnaire, there's no embarrassment on either side, even if the customer declines to provide a testimonial.

Publishing the testimonials online

You choose which testimonials to publish, and can rank them in order. You can publish them:

in a scrolling box on your web site. See the example below - you can choose from a catalogue of box designs and can control the scrolling speed. in various panels on your web site (just as we've done with our own testimonials on this site). as an RSS feed, so they can appear in all sorts of places (see an example).

Your testimonials will also be published on your account page within ProCustomer where they are indexed by search engines. They also participate in the search facility which is accessible from a number of Reputation Marketing sites

More features of the Testimonial Management System

Editorial Control You can choose which testimonials to publish, but you cannot edit them. This is an important element of demonstrating their authenticity. If you get a good but not great testimonial, you can e-mail the writer asking them to make some adjustments. ProCustomer helps you prepare the e-mail and will let you know if the customer has made any changes Second Request If you do not get a testimonial from a customer, but he/she has said they are keen to recommend you, then you can e-mail asking them to reconsider your request. You could even suggest some words for them to cut and paste into the web page. Again, ProCustomer helps you prepare the e-mail and reports the customer's reaction. Customer in Control Normally ProCustomer would display your customer's full identity when publishing a testimonial, including full name, location, job title and organisation. Your customer is given the option to provide the testimonial on condition that you do not disclose some or all of these elements of his identity. This may enable you to get testimonials from customers who would otherwise say no. Don't disclose your customer list You may be nervous of publishing the full identity of the people who wrote your testimonials. You can conceal any element of the customer identity you choose - either on a case-by-case basis or globally for all testimonials. Contact options The questionnaire asks the customer if he is happy to be contacted by people who read his testimonial, whether by phone, e-mail or personal arrangement. When the testimonial is published on your account page, relevant symbols indicate if the writer can be contacted, and the system will make all the arrangements. Case Studies You can add notes to each testimonial to explain what you did to earn it. You can even write a structured case study, which will be published on its own page, indexed by search engines and findable through the search facility on this and other Reputation Marketing sites.
